ABOUT
I help teams turn assistive technology into everyday independence.
I’m Cassie Frost, M.S.Ed., ATP. I started as a special education teacher in 2009, and for roughly 11 years assistive technology has been the center of my work. Today I’m the Founder & CEO of Innov-AT, a Wisconsin assistive technology practice, and I speak nationally on assistive technology, executive functioning, behavior, and transition.
I’m a practitioner first. I still do the assessments, recommendations, and implementation work I talk about, which is why my sessions focus less on the tool itself and more on what makes it stick: the right match, real follow-through, and supports that build independence instead of compliance.

What guides the work
01
Independence, not compliance
The goal is autonomy and dignity for the person using the support, not quieter behavior or a checked box.
02
Follow-through matters most
A great tool in a drawer helps no one. Training and implementation are where the change actually happens.
03
Built for real environments
Supports have to work in a busy classroom, a real job, and a real home, run by real people.
