Cassie Frost, ATP
Assistive Technology Speaker & Consultant
Founder & CEO of Innov-AT • RESNA-Certified ATP • Chair, RESNA Professional Standards Board
Meet Cassie
Cassie Frost is the Founder and CEO of Innov-AT and Chair of the RESNA Professional Standards Board. A RESNA-certified Assistive Technology Professional, she presents nationally on assistive technology, executive functioning, transition, and behavior, and has led assistive technology efforts at both the state and national level.
I help schools, agencies, and workplaces turn assistive technology from a good idea into everyday independence — through keynotes, professional development, and consulting people actually put to use.
The gap isn’t only the tool. It’s also the follow-through.
Most teams don't struggle to find assistive technology — they struggle to use it. The device gets ordered and ends up in a drawer. The app gets installed and never opened. I've spent 18 years in special education and assistive technology watching that pattern, and my work is built around breaking it: matching the right tool to the right person, and making sure it actually gets used — in the classroom, on the job, and in daily life.
Where I’ve Presented:
I speak regionally and nationally — at conferences and for schools, agencies, and organizations — including ATIA, Closing The Gap, and the Council for Exceptional Children.
Who I Work With:
Schools & districts · Conference & PD organizers · Vocational rehabilitation & adult-service agencies · Employers & workplaces
“Thank you! This was so informative, and I appreciate you sharing all the resources and demos! This was one of the best PD opportunities I've had in a long time!!! Thanks!”
-Conference Attendee
Let’s bring this to your team!
Whether you need a keynote that energizes a conference or a full-day training that changes how your staff works, I'll build something that fits your audience and sends people home ready to act.
Assistive Technology
Practical low- and high-tech tools that expand access and independence across the lifespan.
What I speak on:
Executive Functioning
Supports for organization, attention, memory, and self-management that work with the brain, not against it.
Transitions
Carrying assistive technology and skills from high school into college, employment, and adult life.
Behavior & Mental Health
Behavior as communication, self-regulation, and technology that supports emotional wellbeing.
